Finance Shmoe

I am a former SVP of finance for an S&P 500 company, who recently retired, thanks to conservative and common sense spending, investing, and living (much more thanks to my wife than myself), underpinned by biblical principles. 

 

And as I have been blessed, I am now looking for a way to "give back" to the community by helping people with their questions about finance, and point them to good solutions available elsewhere.  Not looking to make money, though perhaps I'll monetize with advertising potentially, nothing that would cost someone on the site anything.  No consulting fees, no nada.   It's all FREE to you....and there is no "larry" that I will be killing (from Sit 'N Sleep).

It ain't much yet.  Just starting.  So forgive the low quality and dearth of content, thus far.

But please, take a look at whatever content is here so far, and feel free to post a financial question on the forum and I will answer.  Will do my best to answer relatively quickly, but don't get mad at me if it takes a couple days. I promise it will be worth whatever you pay, haha.
